#1 Best Way to Get Referral from ActiveRain
I am under contract with my first referral from active rain so this posting was particularly interesting to me. In case you haven't set up your notification alerts, you want to read this post and put the suggestions into place!

I have a new friend. Her name is Cheryl, and I met her through the ActiveRain Referral Network.
Yes… there is a national referral network on ActiveRain. Did you know that? You can post your referrals for anywhere in the US and parts of Canada on ActiveRain and other agents—local agents for those areas—will contact you to take your referral.
Where Do I Find the Referral Network?
To find the Referral Network, all you need to do is go to your home page. Then, click “More to Explore” and you will see the Referral Network. Once you’ve located the Referral Network, go ahead and post referrals galore. (The more you post, the more you earn!)
Get Referral Alerts in Your Inbox
The craziest thing happened to me the other day. When Cheryl contacted me regarding the referral I posted a referral for Northern California, I was shocked at the speed in which she responded.
“You must be on AR constantly,” I said.
“No,” she responded. “I actually got an email alert and happened to be checking email at that exact moment.”
“You mean to tell me that you can get referral alerts for your city or county in your email inbox? Please send me the email you received.”
Cheryl then sent me the email, which I forwarded to Bob and the support team.
I cannot believe that I have been a member of ActiveRain for years and years, and didn’t know that I could get these emails in my inbox.
Referral Alerts in My Inbox
Bob then showed me how to set that up using “Referral Alerts” (see my photo here). Haven’t gotten any referrals quite yet. But, at least now I will get the alerts in my inbox. So, if you’ve got San Diego County referrals, please put them in the Referral Network. You know I will be responding quickly (like Cheryl did) because now I know how to get instant email alerts!
