Four Human Freedoms Plus One
“We look forward to a world founded upon four essential
human freedoms. The first is freedom of speech and
expression. The second is freedom of every person
to worship God in his own way. The third is
freedom from want . . . . The fourth
is freedom from fear.”
Franklin Delano Roosevelt 1882 – 1945, 32nd President
of the United States
As I see it . . . . . . .
Four human freedoms plus one
Franklin Delano Roosevelt words spoken decades ago ring true today . . . . and are still words that inspire Americans today.
America was founded on principles . . . . that have guided our nation for over three centuries.
As an Americans we have the human freedoms that are still a magnet for people around the world to inspire to become American citizens . . . . and to raise their children and Americans.
I believe that the 5th human freedom in American is to leave our children with a stronger . . . . and more prosperous Nation to build on.
Four freedoms plus one . . . . Each generation is empowered to keep our nation strong . . . . and prospering for the next generation.
