Sunday Blessings ~ Thankfulness

As I ponder the blessings of a Sunday, the word "Thankfulness" came to mind today. There are so many things that I am truly thankful for and don't ever want to take them for granted. For today I will focus on those things that I am thankful for.

Being able to worship freely in this country as a Christian
My spouse, children and grandchildren
Wonderful friends
My health
My work
My home
My freedom

May we always remember the things in our lives that we are thankful for. Many of those things in my list have experienced strife, struggles and pain. No matter if we are hurting or having a great day, being thankful is a wonderful thing.

Here is to you and your Sunday! May you take a moment to reflect on the things in your life that you are thankful for! Blessings!

THANK YOU for the post Paula, i do fear for the first bullet point of the items you are thankful for. i am in fear of us losing it. And to put it bluntly, i believe some want us worshiping no one but the govt. yes, you read right. it is all about power. but as long as we have faith in a creator , we have hope :)

Yes Mike Rock, I too fear that as others demand that we "accept" all things that they are actually denying our right to our own beliefs. It is getting interesting but I rest in the fact that I know that God IS in control.
