Our firm covers both Ocala & Gainesville, FL, and we ran some numbers today to compare the 2 markets. In short, both markets look quite healthy.
Both markets are up about 10% from last year.
The same goes for price per square foot:
Activity in both markets is up as well, with Gainesville up a bit more than Ocala. Gainesville has about 5 months inventory & Ocala has 6. Overall, both markets look pretty darn good.
