Today, August 3rd is National Watermelon Day.
You gotta love watermelon, right? Actually, I could care less if you like watermelon.... many people do, especially those with kids. Go buy a few of the mini watermelons and drop them off to a few folks in your database. Make it fun. Maybe you hate watermelon but your dad loved them so you wanted to share in his memory, maybe you slirp and drip with your client's kids in the backyard and you will be the real estate agent they talk about forever.
The 1st week of August is "Simplify your life week." If you are the type of person that relates to that concept, use this opportunity to let a select few of your clients know that side of you. Call those with a similar interests, send out an email acknowledging this week along with a few tips on how to do so.
August is designated to honor several topics. They are:
- National Immunization Awareness Month
- Admit you're happy month
- National eye exam month
- Golf month
- Romance awareness month
- National peach month
How great are those??? You now have purpose to call the people in your database that have children, have a sense of humor and/or are happy, elderly and need an eye checkup, like to golf, have a boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband or like peaches or if you like peaches.... Hmmmm...
