This is an easy (yet effective) way to get in touch with past clients, new leads, and build (RE)lationships that last. In your Client Relationship Manager select “Contact List.” Set the contact salutation to be “Hi or Hello (First Name)” We suggest you do not choose a graphic template. Keep the email plain text so that the message looks like it came from your personal email account. Think of making this as personal of an email as possible. Would you use a template to write a friend or a client that you just closed a transaction with recently? Basically, send an email the same way you would send to someone close to you. Here are a couple of examples of what we mean: Hi First Name, I just wanted to say hello and see how you are doing. I hope everything is going well. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Or Hi First Name, How have you been? I would love to catch up with you. Talk to you soon, Yes, it can be that short and that conversational and informal in tone. For this reason: People feel obligated to respond to a personal inquiry. The more personal the email feels, the better response rate you will get. Your warm, personal email exchange with your clients will last in their minds far longer than an article that you found online. Referrals come from people that care about you and want you to succeed. Referrals come from people that think of you first when someone they know needs a real estate agent. So if you want more referrals, start by getting to know everyone in your database on a personal level. Lasting relationships with your database are (RE)alationships.
