It's a Dog's Life living in Palo Alto, CA

It's been a BIG year for our little Dante.  It started living in the Southern California desert and now he lives in Palo Alto, CA.  Green grass is everywhere, and I mean the best kind, where one can pee and poo.

So, play he must and, he does.  Daily.  I have learned that working from home is not a curse, it is great because we get to take a break every few hours to stretch our legs and run with the 'boys'.  They love it and, so do I.  What a treat it is to spend time with such loving beings.

Here are a few nuggets that I have learned from my dogs:

Live in the moment.

Appreciate those around you.

Express your feelings.

Remember to smile.

Play time is not optional!

What has your dog taught you?

I currently don't have a dog.  I do have a couple cats.  What pets have taught me is to relax more, and not take life so seriously.

Thanks for your comment Myrl Jeffcoat!  I agree, relaxing and not taking life too seriously appears to be a trait of my pets too.  Enjoy your time with you kitties.

My dog needs grass for her needs too:) And after that she sniffs to find those ''perfect'' spots:) With recent cuts and prices increases on water, we'll see less homes with grass and I'm sure, all public grass is going to be replaced too.....eventually:(

Hi Christina Sanchez Hood ,  Dogs are amazing animals.  They are forgiving and not vindictive.  They love you no matter what!  They try to do whaever they can to please you. I  wish humans were more like dogs!

Larry Johnston, it would be an interesting world if humans were more like dogs!

Inna Ivchenko, I am a fan of real grass and so is my dog.  I have faith we shall overcome the water challenges we are having in California, one day soon.
