July 2015 Residential Sales Statistics in Tucson and Vicinity
The market always feels like it slows down a bit as the mercury climbs in our Sunny little corner of Arizona. We had an average sales price for listings of $219,370 in June, dropping just over 4% to $210,570 for July.
As predicted, closed sales dropped close to 5% from a month ago, but we're still up over 28% from a year ago - so the Tucson market continues to improve at a steady rate.
The area continues to need listings - as inventory decreases. New listings are down 10.7% from the month earlier. Total ACTIVE listings are also down by 3.89%
Looking at most active zip code breakdowns, some of the top in the area are:
85653 - 90 active listings, 19 sold. 21.11 percent of inventory
85658 - 177 active, 27 sold - only 15.25% of inventory
85743 - 159 active, 73 sold...45.91%
85742 - 194 active, 45 sold 29.80 %

85706 at 71.43%,
85756 75%
85710 with 42.79%
85730 at 47.06 percent
