Proctor District Farmers Market Starts Saturday April 26th.

The Proctor District in Tacoma has a farmers market that starts Saturday April 26th.

Hours of operation 9am to 2pm each Saturday from April 26th to November 1st.

The Proctor Farmers Market is full of local growers, artists, and vendors who provide a wide range of local foods and merchandise. Basket of Food There is entertainment for both adults and the kids. Dogs are often walking around and there is always something exciting happening.

We are lucky in the Tacoma are to have so many farmers markets to attend. Now that spring is here (or at least it is supposed to be here) we can start getting out to our local markets and enjoying the fruits (and veggies) or our area.

I will be continuing to post articles about the other neighborhood farmers markets during the upcoming weeks.

Getting out and meeting your neighbors at the market is a great way to connect to our wonderful community and to help support our local merchants.

Scott- How fun is that! Our are now over and yours have just begun. So I should live here during ours and live there during yours!

Jessica- The Seattle area has some fantastic farmers markets too. I am sure you will explore the area and find many great things to share with all of us here on AR and on Localism.

Katerina- We have a lot of people who are snowbirds Arizona during the winter and up here during the summer. I am sure the Florida market does something similar too. You do need to come up and see the area and how much it has changed since you were here.
