Tribeca – shortened from Triangle Below Canal Street – is a hip, diverse, exciting neighborhood bounded by Canal Street, West Street, Broadway, and either Chambers or Vesey Streets. It’s home to artists, actors, business moguls and young professionals and of course, the Tribeca Film Festival.

In the early 70’s, artists populated Tribeca, making use of new zoning laws, which meant they could live/work in the same space.
