Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post.  My intent is to put a smile on your face.  Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know.  Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.

Virginia was born in London on January 25, 1882.  Being born to a wealthy family she was well educated and was influenced by the Victorian society.  She met and married Leonard in 1912.  She experienced bouts with depression.  On March 28, 1941 she put on her overcoat filled it with rocks and drowned herself.  Her body was not found until April 18th.  Now can you tell me what she is better known as and what she was famous for?  Well she is better known as Virginia Woolf.  Of course she is most noted for her novels such as Orlando, The Waves, and To the Lighthouse to name a few.

James Dray Thanks for sharing this biography. It seems so many of the creative-types are so mentally tormented.

It is frightening the turmoil those suffering from depression must go through, and I had no idea exactly how Virginia Woolf had died. Thanks for the future nightmares, James.

James,

I had an inkling that you were talking about Virginia Wolf.  Talented and depressed, that is a lethal combination.  Thanks for enlightening me on the subject.  A
