Galvans Gourmet Veganeatery is a brother and sister team that started a year ago. They started with 
just a gourmet vegan hotdog idea and small bank loan. Within a year they have grown to over 10 menu items and have a regular spot at the Redland's Farmers market. They are there every Thursday from 6-9pm. They continue to grow and would one day like to have their own traveling food truck. They are very passionate about what they do and about making ...people happy through food.
They will be at the Herbivore Festival selling their tasty 100% vegan foods... and if you need a tasty bite to eat before then check them out at Redlands Market Night!
They will also be doing a cooking demo showing you how to make Street Style TVP Tacos! YUMM!!!!

Land of the Squash... and Pumpkins!
So, I bet that most of you can name a couple of types of squash... That was me a couple years ago until I discovered Live Oak Canyon. This amazing pumpkin and squash patch...complete with country store 
full of fun decorations... and rides and a corn maze during Halloween... taught me about at least 30 new varieties of squash. Many of them are their own creations too!
I loaded up with squash last Fall and made squash muffins, pancakes, s...oups, fries, chips, cakes and so much more. Squashes are magical! My favorites are the Fairy Tale, Delicata, Butternut... oh and at Live Oak Canyon they has this awesome green one I can't remember the name of that tasted like creamy mash potatoes. Aghhhahhh (that noise Homer Simpson makes).
They are open year round but starting Sept 19th they do some pretty awesome stuff for the kiddos, pick your own pumpkins... tractor rides... games, bounce houses etc..so please check them out. They will be joining us for the Herbivore Festival on Oct 4th... so be sure to stop by their booth!!
