 The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles with a population just over 47,000 (2012).    The City of  Parker is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.   You will find many locally owned businesses and restaurants.    

Buyers looking for Homes for Sale in Parker will find sales in July 2015 saw a slight decrease in  sales from June.    Last year looking at detached family home sales only, there were 205 sold in July 2014, which shows sales are up a bit from one year ago.  Listing inventory increased slightly over the month of June.   Let's look at the sale data from the month of July 2015 for sales of detached single family homes that were recorded for the Town of Parker -

With the summer buying season coming to an end, we are seeing a slowdown with less buyers in the market.     You still may see multiple offers, but not 15-20 offers.    Although in the price range of $400,000 and less, there is robust activity at these properties.   The distressed market (short sales & bank owned property) is very minimal.   

What buyers need to know in this current market, in the price range of $400,000 and below, you could see multiple offers in the first couple of days.

 As of today you will find 363 active homes for sale in Parker (ranging from $265,000 to $18,370,000).    There are 289 currently under contract (ranging from $229,900 to $1,475,000).
