Developing a Think Tank ~ Inspiration Series
One of my favorite "take-a-ways" from my four days with the John Maxwell team was hearing John speak about what he calls his Think Tank! Years ago he wisely began collecting thoughts, quotes, advice, stories, jokes, etc. and developed a simple filing system for them. When he needed inspiration on a topic for his speeches, seminars or books he would simply head for his Think Tank for ideas.
What a wonderful and easy idea for anyone to incorporate into their lives. I am in the process of creating a filing system that works for me. I believe I will use the note card filing system and file by topic. As a writer and retreat speaker, being able to quickly access those golden nuggets of information easily will enhance what I do.
