How much can you afford?
What area are you planning to hunt.?
What type of game are you after?
Are you buying this alone?
If you have a partner, how do yo go into title.
What if one party wants to sell or needs to.
Is there a time period that the other owner(s) have to buy you out?
How do you determine value?
Can one party sell to a stranger without or with approval of the other party(S)
Who is hunting this land?
If owned by multiple owners how do you decide who hunts and where and if new hunters can be brought in to hunt also.
What kind of shelter(S) will be needed or allowed and where will they be located.
Will there be restrictions on the size and sex of game
How do you handle the property expenses...Money set aside for taxes up front?
These are just a few issues to think about when buying the property. Many people think that buying with a good friend or relative is a great idea, but there can be a lot of issues when doing so. Plan well!
