Potomac Shores Update for August 2015
As a local REALTOR and New Home Buyer Specialist, I always enjoy driving through Potomac Shores to see what is new. I was at a final walk through for a buyer and checking on a newly poured foundation of another this week. After I completed my appointment I decided to drive through the community and up to the bluff to see what might be new. As I headed up to the Potomac Shores Golf Club I was so pleased to see the Shores Club being framed. I have several homeowners in the community who are very excited to see the Shores Club becoming a reality. I think that is what I like most about the Potomac Shores Community is The Developer is so great about painting a vision through renderings and then executing them to perfection! I have every confidence that The Shores Club is going to surpass our expectations.
People ask me all the time why are you so enthusiastic about Potomac Shores. All I can say is this, Coming from a Builder and Real Estate background I have seen a lot of communities over 27+ years and the first day I came out to this 2000 acre peninsula I knew it was going to be something special.
The topography is outstanding and lends itself to building lovely streetscapes, the heavily treed forest on top of the buff with it's magnificent wildlife and extraordinary views from the future waterfront town center and marina area are unmatched anywhere on the East Coast. The developer has done everything right so far and has done a masterful job of putting in the streets and reforesting the landscaping in the community with instant gratification plantings that make the community feel established even in the midst of being a construction zone.
The first day I walked through the framing of one of the first models I knew this was something so different and special it had to be a home run for both the Developer and NVR. It has proven to be just that with Prices from the high 400's to 1 million and 15 different floor plans I never have a problem finding a home to fit my buyers needs.
This is the start of construction of The Shores Club which will be open in the Spring of 2016.

As you can see there will be several Event Barns and Pools.
This is a community activity campus that will be the heart and soul of community life in Potomac Shores.

Although the community has sold 238+ homes since mid-2013 this is still very much a ground floor opportunity for buyers The community is selling briskly as more and more people learn about the community. The last few buyers I helped read a blog post just like you are doing now. They picked up the phone and called me and we talked about their specific situation. We then made an appointment to meet at the community and I was able to share with them how a home at Potomac Shores might just meet their goals. My buyers have come from Washington D.C., Manassas, Lorton, Woodbridge, Lake Ridge and I have inquiries as far away as Massaschuttes, New York, and Richmond.
