Pasco County Meetings For Flood Victims
West Pasco was hit hard during the recent stormy week leaving many without a home for days, and others with ruined homes to return to.
Pasco County will be holding informational meetings for people impacted by the recent flooding in their area. Each location-focused meeting will address issues unique to that area. Click here for the County website.
All West Pasco County Meetings For Flood Victims will be held at the Little Road Government Center in the Board Room, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m on the following dates:
Thursday, Aug. 27, Pinellas Anclote Watershed: Pinellas Anclote Watershed includes many neighborhoods including: Anclote River Estates, Elfers Parkway, Veterans Village, Natures Hideaway…and others.

Tuesday, Sept. 1, Port Richey Watershed: Port Richey Watershed includes many neighborhoods including: Magnolia Valley, Suncoast Gateway, Holiday Hills…and others.
Thursday, Sept. 10, Double Hammock Watershed: Double Hammock Watershed encompasses, Timber Oaks, Jasmine Lakes, Gulf Highlands.

They wanted me to also share with you that FEMA imposes a 30 day hold on Flood Insurance. That means it doesn't take effect till 30 days after you purchase it. Keep that in mind before the storms get here, we already have our 4th named tropical depression this year: Tropical Depression Danny. But these guys will give you the best advice so call them.
