2015 Walterville Waddle 5K
Date: Saturday, September 12, 2015
Location: Walterville Community Hall (39259 Camp Creek Road), Springfield, Oregon
Time: 8:00am
Benefit: All proceeds from this event will be donated to the historic Walterville Community Hall for routine maintenance and to make improvements as they are needed.
Event Description: The Walterville Waddle is sure to be fun for everyone! Whether you are a competitive runner or just interested in a scenic stroll through the country, this event is for you. The Waddle is the newest addition to the Walterville Fair and parade held annually on the first Saturday after Labor Day. The Waddle has a down home feel with homemade awards and local sponsors.
Entry Fees:
Through September 5, 2015: $20 without shirt, $25 with shirt, Kids under 17 are free or $10 including shirt, adults over 55, $15 without a shirt, $20 with a shirt.
September 6 through Race Day: $25 without shirt, $30 with shirt, Kids under 17 are free or $10 including shirt, Adults over 55, $20 without shirt, $25 with shirt
Shirts: Shirts are guaranteed for pickup on race day if ordered before September 5, 2015.
Course: The scenic course starts at the Walterville Community Hall and heads out the country roads of Walterville turning on to the dirt roads through the local farms. The last stretch is along the beautiful EWEB canal and back to the Waltervillie Community Hall. The course is mostly flat with a few ups and downs and some rough terrain. It’s is great for all ages and skill levels.
