Kentlands Photowalk: Honeysuckle IMG 4573
Our home community is Kentlands, a very walkable neighborhood within the City of Gaithersburg, in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. Kentlands is a favorite area for families relocated to the Metro Area of Washington, DC.
The aroma of honeysuckle is very pleasant during my early morning photowalks. When you look closely, you can take some interesting photographs.
Subhash Sharma These nice looking Honeysuckles which are native to the Northern Hemisphere come from a family of approximately 180 species of which about 100 are found in China, 20 in India and 20 in North America and the rest in New Zealand and some other countries. There are several different colour flowers in this family of plants and many also produce mildly poisonous berries. The flowers which produce a sweet, edible nectar are a great attraction for the Hummingbirds.
Mr. Sharma is a Facebook friend from India. He now lives in Ireland and frequently comments on my photographs.
