Kids Fishing Day - Bennett Spring State Park - Lebanon, MO

FREE FISHING DAY FOR KIDS 15 AND UNDER

Kids Fishing

Bennett Spring State Park, located in Lebanon Missouri, will host Kid's Fishing Day 2008 from 6:30 AM to 8:15 PM. Young anglers (15 years and younger) can fish for free all day long. Adult volunteers will be on hand to help young anglers, and the older ones too!

Specially stocked kids only fishing area!

Special programs will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Scheduled programs include learning how to tie a fly and a craft "make n take". All kids will receive a free goody bag.

Lunch for the kids will be served from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Door prizes hourly!

This event is truly for the whole family.It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wonderful fishing experience! Or just enjoy the great outdoors and the beauty Bennett Spring State Park has to offer. Walking trails, play areas and pavilions offer something for everyone.

From Lebanon, take Jefferson straight out of town. Jefferson will turn into Hwy 64. About twelve miles out of town, you'll see the Park entrances to the left. Bennett Spring Sign

Debbie, What a wonderful activity for kids....I'm sure they would love to go fishing, it's a lot of fun.

Carole - This is the perfect day for me and my kids. I really do not like to fish. Since there is a special stocked area with volunteers to help, they catch fish - that makes them happy and me happy!

I'll try to take lots of photos this year to share here on the Rain!
