High School football on Friday nights is not just a "Texas thing." It's a big deal here in the Waxhaw/Weddington/Marvin metro area, as well, and there's always a lot of excitement in the air on Fridays as the local high schools suit up for the Friday night game (although please note three Saturday match-ups have "snuck in").
