Hi Nina Hollander

High School Football? Big in Texas? lol

I had never seen a high school football game that had more than 5,000 people in attendance until I was in Dallas for a corporate training, 30 years ago. I was at a friend's house for dinner and kept hearing all this cheering. I inquired and we walked a couple of blocks...I was astounded!!!

Nina,

I remember Friday night football...It was a big event in the little town we lived in.  It is still a vital part of people's activities who have kids in high school and or kids hoping to get into the NFL...A

Doug Dawes  Hi Doug... Texas is huge on football. But with so many football powerhouse high schools in the immediate area, it's huge here too. We just can't seat 5,000 at a game!

Nina,

What I remember of it is after the game, we went out as a group with the players, etc, and many would wait till midnight to order a hamburger...A
