It amazes me at times
how I can literally float on a cloud (number 9)
and feel so absolutely light and truly free--
then another day comes
and I feel like I'm sinking
in a deep, black sea--
I wish I had the ability to comprehend,
to truly register why this has to be--
but for now I'll just have to take this life
as it happens to come right at me--
and try to turn the "black sea" days around
to flying way up high off this unlevel ground--
{I know it's possible}--
yesterday I was swimming in the deep black sea
But today I am soaring, light and free!!!

I was in a good mood when I posted the poem, haha, it's just hard to find ones that are completely positive all of the time.

B~I kinda figured you were in a good mood...you certainly don't come across as anything but happy! And poets CAN be dark at times..it's a way to let go of those times, by writing them out.

I have noticed that most of the poems seem to be dark Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 , so I try to sift through them and find a positive poem. Believe it or not, I get grouchy at times, haha. I hope you are having a fun day my friend!!!
