I am loving this time of year! The Diamondback's are off to a good start, the Sun's are beginning their playoff games and we get an early look at the Devil's this weekend! If you are an ASU football fan, come check out the annual "Spring Game" beginning at approximately 12:30.  (Gates open at 11:30) This is also an opportunity for fans to select their seats for the upcoming season. You are a Sun Devil fan, right?

ASU Sun Devil Football
Last year was pretty exciting under their new head coach, Dennis Erickson. It will be interesting to see where the team can go now that they have a full recruiting year under their belts. ASU has some exciting players returning from last year's impressive team. They should be fun to watch!

Sorry Nick, this is where we part ways.  UofA, UofA.   hahaha  I grew up in Tuc-son, I can't help it.  Oh, make this members only, I don't need any more enemies.  LOL

Hi Doreen, No worries.. I have a couple of other friends that have the same poor taste in football teams. I can probably forgive you. :-)

Well, my niece will probably go to ASU.  She was a cheer leader all through HS and may do that there.  Her mom and dad both graduated from UofA.  If she gets involved with ASU sports, well, I'm glad I'm not my brother...

Oh, thanks for forgiving me.  :)  I actually don't pay attention to college sports.

I have seen some pretty interesting family rivalries when both of these schools are involved. One example is: A good friend of mine played football for UofA and his wife attended ASU..

College sports are a lot of fun! c'mon, - give it a try.. :-)

Nick,

Are you going to be there on Thursday morning at the Bloggers Event in Gilbert?  I sure hope so, and I look forward to meeting you in person, even if you don't sing Bear Down, Arizona!

I do pay attention to college sports- This particular rivalry included. However... I'm completely incapable of learning "Bear Down, Arizona".

Hi Chuck.. I love this rivalry. Either team can be having their best or worst year but it all goes out the window for this ONE game. Thanks for stopping by!

Nick - I love Dennis Erickson.  The progress he made with the Sun Devils in one year is Pete Carroll-esqe.  If it weren't for the Trojans, the sun devils would be my pick to win the pac 10.

Hi Brian.. Thanks for stopping by! I am really looking forward to this season. It should be fun to watch.

Hey nick, I actually misspoke last post.  What dennis erickson did in his first season was better than pete carroll because pete only went 6-6 in his first season.  Cheers and good luck.
