It's GREAT to know how to easily make an emergency lantern/lamp out of an everyday household item! All you need is an orange, olive oil and a lighter or matches!
Here's what you do ...
1. Take a knife and cut just deep enough to go through the outer layer of the orange
2. Next lift off one half of the outside of the orange and leave the natural "wick".
3. Fill with olive oil and allow the oil to satuarate the wick and light!

Well, that's an interesting idea. I can see how that would work - hopefully I will remember if I ever need an emergency light!
