Another Great Mixer!

Chamber of Commerce monthly mixers in Bryan-College Station are a fantastic way to network. I had done an earlier post on one held in the fall and don't think I have missed one since. Good food, spirits,  music, familiar and new faces, plus drawing prizes from sponsors. I usually get all the local news. plus updates from real estate professionals to bankers, retailers and  politicians.

Usually  a few community dignitaries show up plus many business owners.  It  all takes place over the course of a couple of hours. A really great time for all! Don't miss the opportunity to attend one if invited plus if you aren't a member of your local chamber of commerce...you should be. Join.

Have a profitable week!

Trey

Trey,  just yesterday I received an invitation to the North Dallas Chamber mixer coming up.  I'll be out of town for this one, but hope I get invited again.

Trey - Has it been a month since your last Chamber Mixer post?  The best part is networking and the opportunity to always meet someone new. I bet they didn't have Pecan Pie or Bread Pudding like the Shing-dig at Bandera.

Wow .You are right Carl... that bread pudding wasn't there. Why did you have to bring it up. We have no dessert at home this week!

Thanks for the suggestion...I've been thinking about joining the chamber for some time.  Maybe I need to jump right in!

I never seem to get to these mixers but they have value!

Trey, good advice. I've been a member of the Chamber for three years now. You get to meet a lot of people in different fields of work. A great way to network. This year I received a call from the Chamber with a client lead. You never know where that next client will come from.

Good Post!

Tony

Go on and do it. it is good for business.

Charles

Try it , you will like it!

Michael,

That is true! I always seem to get some kind of lead from just visiting with members.

Hi Trey,

This is a great networking idea.  If you want to "network" tomorrow (Sat)  don't forget, there is a fund raiser/clay shoot at Tonkaway Ranch for the city council candidates that our association has chosen to endorse.
