Sorry, but this disgusts me.

I know there are people who smoke dubies, pot, marijuana or whatever else you call it for pleasure, some for pain relief, etc.  I'm not one of them, however, many of my patients in the last 25 year's have had relief from catarac's, pain from whatever and what they do on their own time is really none of my business and I prefer it.

I'm not there...

That being said, WHO ON EARTH WOULD TRY AND MAKE AN 18 MONTH OLD CHILD SMOKE OR INHALE MARIJUANA (not even sure I am spelling that right).

Did you see the recent new's where an 18 yo. was making an 18 mo. inhale marijuana??? and a female was holding the poor child???

How horrific is this?

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO THESE TWO PEOPLE???

Is that not horrible??? Please tell me...???

Well, that's a new level of stupidity.  At least they didn't put the kid in the microwave.  I heard THAT one recently.

Hope,

I was hoping to never to see such a horrific scene, but it's all over our news and it makes me sick...I hope someone rescues this adorable 18 month old and treat's her well...on that thought, perhaps I should check to see if she's up for adoption...she pushed the drugs away as was on TV...amazing. It disgusts me!

Sorry, this is way off topic, but this stuff makes me ill...

I saw it and it breaks my heart. I can't imagine what these kids were thinking of. They should be put in jail for a very long time.

I think the people who did this should be charged with child abuse and the child taken away from them.  I hope they don't get off scott-free.  I heard of some 'parents?' recently who put TWO of their children in a clothes dryer!  DISGUSTING!

Mary,

Clothes dryer...for what??? It's amazing, there are so many people out there who want children, cannot conceive...why not give them up for adoption and give them a better chance at life than to hurt and abuse them or kill them??? I mean there are people out there starving for a child...don't hurt them...I'm sure there are people out there that would love to take care of a child...before it is abused...sicken's me...

Some people don't know how to think.  It makes you wonder.  My daughter works in a medical clinic and a few weeks ago she was treated to, as she put it, "the worst sound I have ever heard in my life."  It was a 14 month old baby girl coming down off a meth high. Her 18 year old mother couldn't get her to stop crying.  Blood tests reveled the baby had more meth in her system that her mother.  Needless to say children's services were called.  But, can you imagine a mother thinking it is OK to give drugs like this to her child?

As George Carlin once said, "don't get your cat high, he's not that high up on the food chain!" Maybe she didn't inhale...works well when your running for office....

Leslie, No, I cannot even conceive that anyone would do this to a child...those people should not have children.  I hope that child is was adopted by a loving family,

Chuck,

What those two people did to that child is terrible...They need to pay!

11:02pm • #14
As bad as that is Ive seen worse. I know of folks that actually smoke tobacco with their children in the same room.

Karen I am not St. Peter, nor do I claim to be. It is not my position to judge and condemn people for what they do. We have courts of law and religious morals to do that. What do they need to pay? Would a $500 fine solve the problem? Probable not. I however saw a car driving down the highway, windows rolled up, with 2 small children in the back seats. As Ron said...which is worse....is it ok because we have decided that one is legal and one not? Education of substance abuse would probable go farther than telling people not to smoke cigarettes.

As a father of a two year old, whom I love more than life, and a former cop, I think these people should be locked up.  That's the politically correct answer.  Anyone who is that stupid, to be FORCING marijuana (or tobacco smoke for that matter) on a child should be slapped silly.  That's the non-PC answer.

People's levels of stupidity continue to amaze me, and I saw a LOT in 11 years on the road.  I may not be their judge, that's true... but I can certainly levy my opinion.

Disgusting.

Yes, my friends, this is the epitomy of discusting.  These were two teenagers doing this and the male was 18 years old.  Poor baby's lungs were probably burning.  She was choking on the TV report.

Stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Unfortunately for this child, the stupidity turned criminal. And that's what these 2 individuals are - criminals - and they should be treated as such. The child needs to be in protective custody.

Jim,

No kidding, that 18 month old's lungs had to hurt with smoke...I mean those two teenager's should have major jail time...The girl ( I think, but not sure was 17 ) and the guy was 18 and forcing the baby to inhale that drug...The baby had more sense than those kids as she was pushing it away...The kid need's foster care and/or adoptive parents...I'd take that sweetheart in a heart beat...

Karen, Everyday in the news you see these terrible things that caregivers or parents have done to children. It sickens me and as a grandparent of an almost 3 year old who's father held him under the water in the bath for so long that it took us months to get that poor baby to even take a tub bath again and his father has been out of his life for 8 months now!!! And he wants visitations now????? Over my DEAD body. He robbed my grandson of his beloved bath time and has instilled a real fear of water in him. Everytime I give him a bath now and I remember how he used to love his bath, I have to hold myself back from going after that creep that calls himself his father. You would be surprised how many children are abused mentally and physically everyday that we never hear about. It is so sad. Innocent victims. It just breaks my heart.

Yes, you spelled it correctly and you also seem to know alot of the terms? Doesn't this fall under the same heading as video taping haveing sex on your wedding night and then thinking no one will ever see it....if you don't want someone to see it...why would you tape it?

Chuck.

I don't know anything about this drug...however my best gf's friend is an undercover narcotics cop...their in lies the linguo...

From what I understand on the news is that it was left in a video camera at a pawn shop...The pawn shop owner checked out the tape and turned it over to the police.

As to the wedding night sex tape comment...no idea.

6:08pm • #27

I was just saying...if they were stupid enough to tape it (and make record of a crimnal offence) they were obviously stupid enough to do it in the first place. Leaving it in the recorder is strike number 3. In our state we have a "3 strikes" your out rule.

As for the wedding night tape....no idea..... of doing one or hearing about one, knowing about

...? confused?

Chuck,

It's not only the elderly...at least they're mostly prescribed, how about the young one's doing all the street drugs...

Because they are prescribed and mixed in a lab makes them ok? Marijuana is now grown by the drug companies and prescribed legally also. Millions of people are prescribed things that they don't need. Drug companies are allowed to advertise, but cigarette companies are not.

Everytime the government starts a war on something...it gets bigger. War on terrorism, war on drugs, war on cancer....and we never can seem to win these wars....they are all pretty big money makers for the government.
