Real estate sales in Monroe CT for July 2015 went UP 8% as compared to July 2014 closed sales AND registered a 22% increase from June 2015 sales. See annual chart below.   

Average list and sales prices both decreased 4% with the median falling 4% as well. 

 

Market absorption came in at 5.11  months meaning it would take 5.11 months to sell off the present inventory of 138 homes just keeping Monroe in a sellers market statistically.

Barbara I would have expected one of the Spring month to of been the highest and not a month where Buyers tend to take vacations.
