Update Those Cabnits!

I don't know about you, but a good looking kitchen and the bathrooms really sell a house for me. Lets me know, "hey, this wont be on the market long" or "man, this is gonna be a tough sell". Kitchens are the most cruicial peice when selling any house. It is where all the money should go and sets the tone of what the buyer will be looking for.
No one likes to buy a house to clean it all up; that's a job for a person who wants to flip a house. If you a seller and want the most out of the return, have a cleaned up, up-to-date, kitchen. Really, all you have to do is paint your cabnits. Here is a article from My Realty Times that has some before and after picutres of some work. They look much much better with just a face lift. It wasn't adding thousands of dollars, maybe $200 for the supplies and a weekend of your time.
Just the face lift will brighten your outcome of trying to sell your house. My son is currently looking to purcahse a house, (I know, I know, always talking about him) and he is almost perminently throwing out any kind of house that is at market value and doesnt have an updated or even an appealing kitchen. Its a lot of work and money after you already put your entires savings into a house. So, take it from me (or my son), an updated kitchen/bathroom will make or break your chances of getting a decent return, or no return, on your property!!
