Bark Park in Snyder Park in Ft. Lauderdale Florida

Fifth in the Series of Broward County Dog Parks

Even though we do not have a dog "yet"-- I've been on the lookout for dog parks in our area! We have what I like to refer to as a "postage stamp" backyard, with zero lot lines. For someone that grew up with nearly an acre of land and woods surrounding her home, in my mind this isn't big enough for a dog to roam around. Before I can commit, I need to know what our area has to offer to raise a happy, healthy dog and how convenient it is to where we live. That made me think that other dog owners who are thinking of moving to our area would like to know what Broward County offers for your four legged family member.

Our next featured dog park is:  Bark Park at Synder Park in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Bark Park features two open air pavilions, benches, a separate area for small dogs, two hose stations, agility equipment, Dog Swim in East Lake during park hours.

Dogs are to remain in the vehicle until they arrive at the Bark Park and are not permitted in the remainder of Snyder Park

Hi Kim.  Stop dogging it and make the ruff decision to buy that puppy.

HA!! Good one!! Really having a hard time agreeing on what we all want. And I just found out that the dog I've always wanted isn't allowed in our plan. Our HOA now has a rule on not allowing any dogs over 40 pounds.

Kim- I love that there are more and more dog parks.  We have one in Delray and they are revisiting allowing dogs on part of the beach.
