What’s a funny number :)

In a recent closing the other broker brought a new agent with her. I was glad to see that broker helping a new agent.

But she forgot to instruct the new agent that she should watch, listen, and take notes but not talk during closing. The new agent spoke up at different times with offhand remarks but we all played along.

At the end, the closer said she was going to check on the funding number.

Rookie agent blurts out loudly “What’s a funny number?

It left the room speechless until her host broker quietly told her she would tell her later.

Rookie agents: We want to help you as much as we can. But it is probably best if you ask your “funny” questions in private :)

Barbara,

The sad thing is that I don't think the rookie had a clue.
