I just listed great new Albuquerque home for sale that has one thing going for it that every listing should - great location! Richland Hills is a popular neighborhood in NW Albuquerque just over the river with homes built by one of Albuquerque's better home builders of the 1990's: Sivage Thomas.

Richland Hills Home for Sale at 4405 Mountvale Ave NW

The only problem with those old Sivage Thomas homes is that they were using flooring and countertop colors that were outdated back in the mid to late 90's. Imagine how they look today!

Unless, of course, they have been updated!

Luckily for the next homeowner, 4405 Mountvale Ave NW has been totally updated.

NW Albuquerque's Richland Hills Neighborhood

Richland Hills is a super popular neighborhood featuring brick homes built in the mid to late 1990's. Located just over the Rio Grande off Paseo del Norte, it's an easy commute to the other side for work.

If you speak to Albuquerque old timers, they'll tell you the NE Heights is the best pace to live. Well, I live in NW Albuquerque, across the street from Richland Hills, and I couldn't disagree more.

As a mid westerner who relocated here, I love living in this part of town. The homes are newer, you get more house for your money, the crime is lower, and the schools are good. Plus there are more and more health care opportunities (something that was lacking when I moved here in 2004) and more restaurants and breweries are popping up all the time.

Richland Hills is walking distance to Smith's Grocery Store, Ace Hardware, Starbucks and more, and it's an easy drive to the Cottonwood Mall area.
