Pricing incorrectly is probably one of the biggest mistakes that a Spokane Real Estate Agent can make. All sellers want the most money they can get for their home, but a listing price that is too high often gets less than market value. If the home is not priced comparable to the competition, buyers will pass it buy for a larger home at the same price.

Sellers need to be realistic in any market and more so in the current market. While I think the local market is still strong it certainly isn't booming like years past.
Of course I can't find the Spokesman Review article on my messy desk right now but I think the MLS data indicates the number of homes sold is down around 20% from last year at this time and homes listed for sale are UP from last year. That's not a winning combination - well, for buyers it is!
Price your home right and it gets sold. Plain and simple.
