THROWBACK THURSDAY...1970 commercial

What a great choice for a re-blog.  I remember this commercial well.

Hello Bob,  I remember this one and they should still have it on.  Did I miss you in Denver this past month.

I still love this commercial! I saw some pictures of the free parking beach that is located near my house and it was a tragic mess. I am thinking that while this commercial did bring about awareness.... they need to do more. 

On another note I am sorry I have not commented on your posts but have been busy. I am actually waiting on a client right this minute.

I don't remember seeing that commercial at all, but then again I was pretty young in the 70's, such an important message though!

I'm afraid I don't remember this commercial. I don't even remember if I had a television to watch in the 1970's. I was too busy studying in school or library, trying to graduate. My only memories of the 1970s was going to High School, marriage, having two kids, and buying my first house. Yes! Those things I remember but I was cognizent of taking care of the environement.

That video was very impactful! This is the first time I saw it and it brings tears to my eyes too.

Bob Crane... hi Bob, I hate to admit that I'm old enough to very well remember this commercial!

Yes, I absolutely remember it, and I still feel like this Native American. I have to pick up trash that people throw out their car windows often. It is one of my few hot button. It takes very little effort to do the right thing, but there are so many people who just don't care.

yeah...let me just date myself. I remember it well. 

WE were just talking abou tthis last weekend...We are better than we were back then, but still room for inprovement.

Bob - Thanks for sharing this in a re-blog. I remember these commercials very well. They made me realize that we need to take care of our planet.

Oh my brotha... I didnt even need to watch it to KNOW it. I was little and cried when I saw the indian cry about the trash and never littered from then to now. YES VERY impactful

Bob I remember this commercial as well.  The tear at the end made it hard to forget.

I have to echo these other sentiments.  I remember these commerials, and yes they were very powerful.
