Sounds too good to be true
right??? Well it isn't.
Rockland Home Staging has partnered with local real estate
agents that are willing to pay the fee for a two hour home staging
consultation.
What is the catch? No catch - the consultation
is absolutely free. There are several agents in Rockland County NY that
are willing to pay the fee for a home staging consultation as part of
their listing process. When you list with one of Rockland Home
Staging's partner agents you are entitled to a free two hour consultation
with a professional home stager.
What are the benefits? There
are thousands of homes on the market in Rockland County NY and the real
estate market is slow. Having your home professionally staged
will ensure that your home sell quickly and for more money. According
to recent statistics, homes that have been staged sell for 6.3% more
than the competition and in half the time.
What are the risks?
There
are no risks to having a home staging consultation. A
representative from Rockland Home Staging will visit your home and
discuss inexpensive changes that can be made to the home to make it
more appealing. Home Staging is point of sale marketing for
your home. You can choose to implement all or some of the
suggestions made by the stager according to your budget and time
constraints.
How do I get started? Just
contact Maureen Henry at Rockland Home Staging today. She can
help you navigate the often confusing and stressful real estate market.
Rockland Home Staging can help you take the guesswork out of getting
your home ready for sale.

Is this a PR release? I need to work on something like that so I can release it as a press release. Since the end of 2006 99% of my two-hour consutlations are paid for by agents as part of their marketing budget. Good job!
Jennifer - It works out great on all counts. Realtors get referrals from me, clients get a free staging consultation and a consultation. It is a win, win, win.
Maureen - Like your marketing piece. I guess the Realtor who gets the client is paying for your consult? Did you give them a price break or are they paying your regular fee? Did you pitch the idea to a lot of Realtors? Sorry for all the questions.
Sandra - I work with a few agents that value my services. They understand that the homes will sell quicker. I also see a lot of clients before they list and try to match the my favorite agents with the right clients. It is a great relationship. I do a lot of marketing to Realtors, I do AM chats and 3 hour continuing education classes for REA's. It helps to develop relationships with local agents.
Maureen you are on the right track. Educate, educate, educate. It legitimizes the industry and gives you credibility. They are lucky to have you in Rockland.
I love your "Which home would you rather buy?" series. Keep them coming!
(See if you can create a common tag for them all, perhaps "whichhome" so you can use one link to show off the whole "Which home would you rather buy?" portfolio.)
Maureen, Good for you!!! I wish the REA's in my area were willing to offer this to all of their listings! Unfortunately, most are still living in the "old days" and giving their own version of "home staging" in the form of a "LIST" .... paint it neutral, declutter, etc. They still don't get the value of having a professional stager get involved. BUT...I'm still trying to educate!
BTW....you can get your blog published for free on the internet. I did it a few months ago. Its a simple process. go to www.free-press-release.com. You'll have a review and then it will go live in a couple of days! Hope this helps!
OMG. Staging sells homes, period. I should add that it is worth every penny of an initial consultation (thanks, Val- east end of LI) because staging simply SELLS HOMES.
Maureen I have to add: when we had our stager come out to three properties, two sold without the homebuyer having to add much. The difference between the suggestions implemented by a "professional" as opposed to a real estate agent made the experience MUCH BETTER for the sellers. And, for us.
Maureen great marketing, this is a win-win situation for everyone involved, thanks for sharing I would definitely love to have that type of business partnership with a few local Realtors.
