St George Utah Rodeo-Dixie Round Up Sept. 17, 18 and 19, 2015
It's time once again for the annual St George Utah Rodeo - Dixie Round Up, sponsored by the St George Lions Club. This will be the 81st year the rodeo has been held! True to tradition, the rodeo is always held during the second week of September each year and runs for 3 days. In 2015 those dates are September 17th-19th. The event is held at the Dixie Sun Bowl which is in downtown St George.
The Dixie Round-Up Rodeo is a favorite event for many of the locals and has become a family tradition for generations. Cowboys and cowgirls display their skills and talent at roping, barrel racing and of course bull riding. Watching the junior cowboys and cowgirls participate in mutton busting is one of the cutest things you'll ever see!
Gates open & tickets go on sale at 6:00 p.m. nightly, entertainment 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The rodeo usually winds up around 11 p.m.
Thursday September 17th is “kids night” – children 11 & under are free with a paying adult
Saturday September 19th is the final night of the rodeo
Advance Ticket Sales available at Lions/VFW Bldg. 301 E 100 S. 435-673-3301. Ticket Sales begin on Saturday September 12th 8:00 am-5:00 pm This includes General Admission and Reserved Seating. You can call 435-673-3301 and order your tickets using a credit card. Both General Admission and Reserve Seating are available.
