What is Non-prime?

By

As I write this blog, I can only imagine the comments that will come... For a very brief moment I even thought about disabling comments on this blog, but I've never written a blog that wasn't open (so I'm not going to start now!)

NON PRIME.......anyone in the industry longer than 10 years know exactly WHAT it is, but for those of you that don't...it's a mortgage program for borrowers with less than perfect credit. I'm not going to debate on "if" the non-prime market should come back or "if" it's the reason we had a meltdown, etc....

I'm just going to offer up the information and let you guys debate amongst yourselves on the pros and cons, but for the Realtors and Originators that have borrowers who have had few issues in the past and they have a down payment (and/or a seller that will work with you), I hope you take advantage of this market. Image result for bad credit

LeRoy Anderson has been in the mortgage industry longer than I've been alive (ok....slight exaggeration), his experience with mortgage loans surpasses any account executive I've talked in the 'Prime" market. He actually looks at your files BEFORE they are submitted to  underwriting, and if you've ever read any of my old blogs....you know I love for people to review thiere files BEFORE they submit them.

Give LeRoy a call or an email. He can give you more information:

Dionne, there are many lenders in our market are who work with clients who have less than stellar credit.  Thank heavens!

D. Bass- what a good recommendation for LeRoy Anderson.  Buyers need to work with a professional who knows programs and can lend some help or at the very least advice.
