North Richland Hills Parks and Recreation NRH Road Runner 5k
Hello NRH and surrounding areas! The Roadrunner 5K is coming Sat Oct 10, 2015 to Green Valley Park!
Green Valley Park is a lovely park at 7701 Smithfield Rd between Bursey and Starnes Rd and will make a great place to begin this 5K. The course winds through NRH using the beautiful John Barfield and Calloway Branch Trails, including some on road sections of North Richland Hills streets.
Participants in the 5K will get a custom Road Runner finisher medal, while 1 mile fun runners receive
ribbons. A Dri-Fit Road Runner 5K tshirt comes with registration. There will be awards three deep in different age categories and for men and women. Make sure you register early(By Oct 1) to get your tshirt and get it in the right size!
The weather should hopefully be cooler and we'll be running through the gorgeous trail system and parks. Come on out and spend a great morning with your neighbors!
