Today is all about being thankful.

Today is one of those spring days in New York that you can be thankful to be alive.  The forsythia, cherry, apple and  magnolias are bursting into bloom and the weather is warm, clear and not humid.

Weeping Cherry Tree

The weeping cherry tree I planted in front of my house a few years ago.  I posted some photos for Rye NY the other day on localism.  Feel free to check them out. 

No matter how good or bad business is, no matter how busy or slow you are,

We all have so much to be thankful for.

Friends, family, the weather, my garden. Springtime.

Things are blooming my way too, mowed about 1 acre of grass, put away some firewood, took my wife to the doctor, did some weed eating, got to take my son to pick up his baseball uniform.Im thankfull that I was able to do all theese things for myself and loved ones---Bart

Kevin, your Chinese Weeping Cherry is beautiful.  There was one in the front yard of our very first house many years ago.  It was so beautiful every Spring when it bloomed.  I still miss it.  :)

Great weeping Cherry! Great post! I think everyone is just so happy to see spring this year. The winter wasn't the worst but it just seemed to drag!

Cherry treeOur weeping cherry is only about 6 ft-planted last year-I can't wait for it to grow more even though I already love it.
