North Texas Giving Day begins in a few hours. This is the seventh year that nonprofit organizations can raise funds with your help and receive bonus funds from participating donors. Over two thousand nonprofits will participate in this extraordinary day of fund-raising.
Nonprofits receiving donations between $25 and $50,000, from 6:00 AM to midnight are eligible for a portion of the $2.2 million bonus funds. NorthPark Center will set up a Dallas County Donation Station open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Nonprofit organization volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and performing arts groups will provide performances in the shopping mall. Children are invited to participate by donating coins and engaging in activities designed to demonstrate fund-raising.
This is our chance to make a difference in the budgets of the participating organizations.
