I'd add just couple of words to this title for a reason - 'Blogging Here in ActiveRain Only Makes Sense - As Rainmaker!'

Back almost 7 years ago, when I started blogging on ActiveRain, a site dedicated to real estate blogging was a new phenomenon. No, blogging was nothing new when ActiveRain was launched, it had its beginnings in the mid-90’s. In those days, blogs ranged from tech to sex and everything in between. Covers quite a gambit doesn’t it? One thing can be said about blogging, it has changed the media world and how privately generated journalism functions in our culture and the real estate world.
Blogs do two things that eZines and print media cannot. Blogs are personal and are community driven. Almost all of them are imbued with the temper of their writer. This is a personal touch is much more in tune with our current sensibility. Readers increasingly doubt the authority and integrity of “established” media. Inherently, they know that behind the veil are fallible writers. This seems to gain a reader's respect. To err is human.
Blogs seize the means of production - at the time the article was written. In the “old world” of journalism, a writer, editor and publisher was needed for any article. This has been bypassed by the world of blogging. We write what we feel is important or how we feel at the time. Blogging is personal. In essence, blogging is a form of self-declared independence from the "established" media.
In short, blogging here on ActiveRain builds an online presence with your content and/or daily musings, listings or other information you want to relate to your following of readers. If you want to grow your business, blogging here in ActiveRain only makes sense. What are your thoughts?
