Welcome to Baker Home Inspection Blog!

Whan to get started ?

1 1/2 lbs. Pacific Halibut steaks

1 cup of finely chopped pecans

3 T of flour

1/2 tsp. of salt

1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper

2 T of maple syrup

4 T salad oil

Pat the halibut dry with a papper towel.

Mix together the pecans, flour, salt and the cayenne pepper on a flat plate. With a pastry brush, coat one side of each halibut steak with the maple syrup. Dredge it in the pecan mixture. Then do the same to the other side.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet. Fry the halibut at high heat for 10 minutes per inch of thickness of the steak, turn it once halfway through cooking. Add more oil to the pan if needed.

 Have a good one Dale
