Superior Cleaning Product for Sellers and Agents

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Distinctive / LIC in VA

Every now and then I discover a cleaning product that gets added to my list of superior cleaning products that I keep on hand. While improving a current listing in Lovettsville Town Center this morning, I had the chance to use this product by Mr. Clean called Magic Eraser.

First I tried it on a wall that was scuffed with black marks. Within 1 minute, I had removed the scuff mark. Here is the before picture. Watch the lower left corner scuff mark.

After scubbing lightly for less than one minute, the scuff mark in lower left was gone.

I also used it to clean the sealed burner stove top. Plus, the stainless steel refrigerator had rust marks that looked like they were pitted into the stainless steel. It took longer, but after about 5 minutes of scrubbing an area of around 1 square foot on the refriderator door, all the rust marks were gone.

This product saved me from either having to get sellers to paint the room, or to try to match the paint to touch up the room, which almost always doesn't match exactly.

I will keep this product on hand and highly recommend you give it a try if you have a need.

Jeff- I have one in my staging bag and have relied on them for years.  They do wonders with smudges and such on doors and door jams.

I discovered these when the kids were still at home. If you scrub too hard it will take the paint off but in the meantime it is a quick fix. It is great to use on rentals.

#7- Hi Debbie, I was careful not to scrub too hard on paint, but on stainless scrubbing hard worked well on the rust spots.
