It's nearly pumpkin time at the Baker house

This was two of the three carvings Donald did for us last year. He always makes great Jack-O-Lanterns for our office and my mom loves owls so last year he took her the owl one about mid way through our office trick or treat open house so she would have one.

We'll be hosting a Lake Sinclair area trick or treat again this Halloween for a safe place for children to stop by and get some goodies including some homemade goodies.  Feel free to bring the kids or even come without the kids, we'll let the adults enjoy them too.

More details in the weeks that follow about times.  Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful fall like temperatures we are having. Maybe our leaves will be colorful this year.

Judi K Barrett not always, but sometimes, if not a stencil he sometimes has some kind of photo and make a few punches, but I also have seen him just look at a photo of one and whip it out free hand.

Lisa Von Domek I always show them off.  He does great carving.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel my mom loved the owl, she's a collector of all things owl.  Of course at thanksgiving we called it owl pie. LOL

Nice pumpkins!  I love this time of year so much!  Looking forward to warm apple cider donuts, pumpkin carving and a hay ride or two with the grandbabies!  I'm baking an apple pie Wednesday for dinner with my parents before they return to Florida for the winter.
