Buying guaranteed replacement cost homeowners insurance may cost more than other types of insurance but the Florida homeowner knows that if their home is destroyed by fire their policy will cover the full cost of replacing and repairing their homes and contents  after the deductible is met.  Flood and earthquake loses are not covered by this insurance - they require insurance or riders.
