Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC) - “Phonetastic Nature Photography”
Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC) will host Unplugged Adventure “Phonetastic Nature Photography” on Saturday September 26 , 2015 at their Indiangrass Preserve. The program starts at 9 AM and lasts until 10:30 AM. Here is opportunity for a nature lovers to learn new photography techniques using a smartphone.
As we all know, smartphones are almost indispensable these days for many of life’s happenings including photography. New additional lenses being macro, fisheye and wide angle are making next level phone photography a reality. Participants at this Unplugged Adventure will be able to try out several lenses which will assist to significantly improve their picture taking skill set especially in nature.
This photography session will be taught by Jaime Gonzales who is the Conservation Education Director of KPC and who also well known for his ability to make anything exciting and interesting to learn.

The cost is inexpensive at $10.00 per person and includes take home three-lenses photography kit for both IPhones and Android. Registration is necessary and can be done here. The Indiangrass Preserve is located at 31950 Hebert RD, Waller TX 77484.
This Adventure is a complete bargain and participants will learn many useful photography techniques and skills.
The KPC Mission is: To preserve an ecologically vital tallgrass prairie and associated wetlands area on Houston's far west side ( including Katy) for the enjoyment and benefit of all.
