I think we are about to have an "ice-out" here in SW Florida, as well.  I just swept the pool and touched up some nicks on the spa to get ready for the onslaught of grandchildren this weekend.  Better mow the lawn now, before they get here.

The sound of the ice crackling as it melts was incredible... did you use a flip video for that recording?  Loved it, looked like something right out of a news cast!  Nice work you two, I also loved your video about people trying to pronounce your last name!  I laughed for days and it  had a lasting impression on me and many others. Linda...doesn't it make you feel so alive!  That's the nice thing about living in a place that has a dramatic change of seasons...hitting certain milestones throughout the year make life so beautiful (ie first snow fall, ice out, buds popping, grass turning green, fall color)
