We in the real estate industry really like to get good reviews when we have helped a client buy or sell a home. In fact, we love it when they write these reviews on Zillow or Trulia or wherever potential clients will see them. Many of us get business from these reviews.
SO, DO YOU WRITE REVIEWS ON OTHERS THAT HAVE GIVEN YOU GOOD SERVICE?
IT MIGHT JUST BRING BUSINESS TO THEM TOO.
Here's an example:
I've been in Palm Springs the past couple of weeks looking for some property for a client. Friends of mine operate the charming little Arenas Gardens Hotel in the Tennis Club District and this is where I am staying. Steve and Kass do such a wonderful job with the five bungalows and beautiful tropical gardens that I thought I should write some reviews for them.
So today I am taking a little time off at the pool and start talking to some guests that had come for the weekend. 'Lo and behold, the first couple I introduce myself to says, "Hella, that's an unusual name, are you the one who wrote that TripAdvisor review? It mentioned that you were staying here right now. Your review made us book into this hotel."
WOW...I was blown away.
Later I talked to another couple, and they also had made the booking after reading my review!!!!
SO, YES, HERE WAS PROOF THAT REVIEWS WORK, AND NOT ONLY IN OUR INDUSTRY.
