Here's an FYI...All of the Global Bazaar merchandise At Target is now 50% off!

I picked up some terrific accessories that were previously $24.99 and only paid $12.49 each.  There is still plenty of furniture, lamps, decorative pillows and accessories left.  I remember from last year that once the merchandise went on sale, it sold fairly quickly.  I would guess that most everything will be gone by next week.

Happy Shopping!

Oh Val, Target has a great collection of just about everything but since they have implemented Global Bazaar you can select based on style or color,  I thought I was the only one to shop there but I love their modern accessories,  I have ordered online items that I couldn't find in the area and the cost has be so reasonable.  Their lighting collections are wonderful but not usually available at the stores.  Some people equate K-Mart with Target and I think that is very unfair, even high-end shoppers are up for a bargain if the design is right.

Val -- You shouldn't have told me that....now I have to change my plans for tomorrow and take a walk...directly to Target....since there is one practically in my backyard.

Uuuuuhhhhh!!!  No Target here in Canada!!  You guys seem to have some of the best deals going in your stores there.  It only makes me look harder up hear!  Can't wait to share what I find in the near future to share with my fellow stagers.

A few weeks ago, DH and I went to Pier one.  the next store we went to was Target.  While we were in the Global Bazaar section my DH says "It looks like target bought Pier ones inventory and it is selling it here"

I must admit- the items were very much alike:)

Val I did see that but there was nothing that cheap, but it really was some great stuff regardless. I went back to Linens N Things and scored again with them. I got a great black wrought iron console table (long) with glass top and 2 lamps for $79.99. This could be used for hallways, behind couches or as a writing desk with chair.

Keep Shopping

Val -

I stopped at Target on my way home this morning.  Everything was so picked over already, there was nothing left but those weird (but nice) asian chairs and some strange artwork.:(

Thanks for the tip, Val.

There was loads of stuff there when I arrived, but I kept talking myself out of purchases since I don't have a specific job in mind at the moment. I kept thinking, "what if I don't use it?"

That said, I did pick up 4 glass canisters with silver decorative lids that will be terrific for a bathroom.

I managed to step away from the rest.

Cheers,

Veronica

I went out to the Target in my area and it was horrible!  Nothing....nothing...nothing!  I'm going to have to be there the first day it goes on sale.  I also have to make sure that when I truly get my business up and running that I remember that shopping is for business purposes not for me.  I forsee problems.  I already love shopping.

Heads up!!! The global bazaar items are 75% off now. I loaded up a cart for $100. There were still good things to choose from in my area.

PS I learned they do mark downs every Tuesday and Thursday. So I always go right when they open on these days. You can get some great deals! Another tip is to shop the back ends of the aisles. Thats where they put most of the clearance.

Happy shopping!

the target in my neighborhood still has a number of global bazaar items left.  The bazaar items are great, but I always find lots of other "treasures" in target on a regular basis.  I truly have found you can one stop shop there for most of your decorating needs!

Val-  I was able to pop into a different Target today and like Amanda said, everything was 75% off.  I didn't find a lot, but I did find a great black and cream side table and a matching decorative box.  $42 for both.  Too bad there is not a third Target around here!

Hey Val - OK I'm really late seeing this blog, but I went last night.  I got two really cool wooden table sculptures.  They were $6.00 each.  And I got a painting of a vase for $12.  It was worth the trip but I wish I'd gotten there sooner.  Thanks for the tip!!

Wow..... I picked up 2 leather deco chairs for $90.00 each.  Loved them so much that I went back and bought two more the next day :)  Great deals and less than Pier One.

You know Walmart has some great prices on small and medium plants too.

I lived in Texas for five years and one of the things I miss the most having moved back to Canada is Target!  Thanks for the reminder of what I am missing :)

How do you survive without target!!! (lol).  I think I practically live in that store.  What store similar to target do you have in Canada? Is there Walmart or K mart?  Hope you guys get a target soon.

It was an adjustment not going on my weekly Target trips!  Target would do very well in Canada.  I know many people that go across the border just to go to Target.  I heard that one of the big Canadian retailers is blocking its entry...but who knows.  We do have Walmart but it is not the same, in my opinion.  There is a store called Homesense which I have spent a pretty penny at!  It would compare to TJ Max.  Thanks for your concern Maureen regarding my shopping situation :)  My husband feels it hasn't crippled my shopping habit!

Nana, I was just on Target online and they still have tons of the Global Baazar items.  I know the shipping might be a lot....just a thought.

Every  year right after Christmas I run to my local Target to hit the Global Bazaar. I love it and have found the most unusual accessories and small pieces of furniture. In the Northeast here we also have the Christmas Tree Shops. No, it's not Christmas stuff all year long, but it feels like it, great finds at unbelievable prices, and that says Christmas to me!! Also HomeGoods is a favorite of mine.

I am new to Active Rain and am a Home Stager in Connecticut, Greater Hartford area. Staging is finally getting recognized here, we tend to lag behind the rest of the country, west coast especially. But I am making progress and things are really picking up. This Active Rain seemed like a great opportunity to share and get inspiration. I am a bit overwhelmed by the different groups. I want to connect nationally and of course zero in on a local level. I welcome any advice. I am thrilled by what I've read and want to get involved and contribute in a meaningful way. Thanks to all for paving the way. I will try to continue the effort. Thanks, Rhonda Rawlins      www.glastonburyhomestaging.com

If any of you bought the low, rectangular seagrass baskets from Global Bazaar and want to sell them after your staging...please consider selling them to me!  They're no longer in stores or online, and I'm working on a project that requires a lot of them.  I'd really appreciate it!
