As I see it. . . . . . . .

You can complain . . . . or do something about it

 

Time misspent is gone forever . . . . and returns very little . . . . or no value back into your life.

 

It’s important to invest your time wisely in your activities to create value . . . . and to move you in the right direction. Focus your time . . . . and activities on doing what’s important . . . . and what will move forward and in the direction of successfully achieving your goals. 

 

There is a time to talk about what you want to do . . . . and a there’s a time to step up.  To do it . . . . and  take action on doing what has to be done . . . . Step up . . . . and take the actions that will contribute to your long term success.

 

When there is a time to step up . . . . and do something about it. Take the steps to move forward . . . . and do something about it with determination to create successful results.

 

You can complain . . . . or do something about it . . . . Complaining is the pathway down a dead end road with minimal results  . . . . When you do something about it you are using your time productively . . . . and you are on the pathway of getting it done successfully.

Lou, thank you for a friendly reminder.  When a problem, or irritation arises, one has three choices: 

 

(1) IGNORE the matter, and there are times to do that.

(2) COMPLAIN "Why doesn't somebody do something about this?"

(3) DO SOMETHING!  YOU ARE SOMEBODY. 

One's CHOICE will result in how they are perceived and how they perceive themselves.  Am I SOMEBODY who Ignores things?

Or SOMEBODY who whines and complains?

OR AM I THE GUY WHO HEEDS THE CALL, TAKES ACTION, GETS RESULTS, AND DOES WHAT MUST BE DONE?  When someone sees something that needs to be done, WHO WILL THEY CALL?  The one who ignores, complains, or the ONE WHO TAKES ACTION AND GETS THINGS DONE?  I know WHO I WANT TO BE.

I agree with Gary Coles .  Also in my older age it seems time does fly by quickly so, NOW would be a good time to start changing what needs changing.

For plenty of people, they just like to complain so that people will feel pity on them.  But they don't want to actually do anything to better their situation.

Lou- such good wisdom to live by- I believe it is ok to be upset by something-or someone- as long as you have a time-line for how long you are willing to be in upset-then find a solution-handle it - and move on- Anna-said it well complaining gets you no where-the faster you take action- the happier you will be.

Very true, most do not want to do the work though to fix the problem and prefer to just complain. Not a good way to be successful.
