The Most Expensive Home sold in Arizona last week

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Zion Realty

The most expensive home that sold in Arizona last week is a gorgeous new construction property in Scottsdale. If you're going to purchase the home of your dreams what better way than to build it yourself! Being able to customize every detail of your home is certainly a benefit most of us would enjoy. Every aspect of this home is modern, stylish and exactly what you'd expect from a high-end luxury property. The attention to detail is weaved throughout and includes custom built cabinetry, coffered ceilings, imported wood flooring, a dual island kitchen, a steam shower in the master bathroom, and so much more. The new homeowners didn't just stick with a boring and bland color pallete either. The use of soft greens, bold reds, and modern wallpapers give this home a custom and personalized touch.

Sitting on over four acres of land also allow the new homeowner to have plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the magnificent desert surroundings. The outdoor amenities of this home are just as impressive as the indoor features. A 20-foot glass sliding pocket door opens up from the living room to allow easy access to the inviting 1,500 square foot covered patio where you can enjoy LED TV's, an outdoor fireplace and lounge area. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the refreshing pool, splash pad, and elevated spa. There is also plenty of space to store all of your expensive toys in the massive over-sized four car garage with floor to ceiling built-in cabinetry. Click on the picture below for the full MLS listing:

Location: Scottsdale

Size: 4,079 sqft

Bedrooms: 4

Bathrooms: 4.5

Nicole, what a stunner! I would love to have a tour of this home. Even though it's large it still looks so inviting.

Sybil - It is a great home!

Ron - Your welcome. Thanks for stopping by!

Amanda - It's big but it looks very functional.

Kathleen - They also built it in an area where it's going to appreciate very well.

Dick - I know you like a lot of photos. This one doesn't have 100 but it has enough to get a good feel for the home.

Gail - I wish I was selling this one. I just do a weekly featured blog post about the most expensive home that sold in Arizona the previous week.

Rob - Thanks Rob. This week's feature is big but still manageable in my opinion.

Only 4 bedroom, that is a very shy home:)

I wonder, what is the biggest ( sz ft and #br ) home in your area?

Nicole Doty - Gilbert Real Estate Expert

In Gilbert a typical luxury property will be around 5,000-6,000 sqft. In Scottdale or Paradise Valley they can get up to 10,000-12,000 sqft. That's where a lot of the local professional athletes live.

Nicole-You know a property is huge when they need an aerial view to be able to see it completely. Gorgeous for sure.

This looks like something that should be in Paradise Valley.  Although you probably aren't going to find a 4 acre lot to build on there.

Very nice, Nicole!

Hey Nicole-the house looks beautiful but I don't get the no trees and just stones everywhere. I'll stick with my lush tropical foliage.

Hi Nicole -- I agree with Roger D. Mucci -- this is such a good idea for a weekly series and you do it so well.   This is a particularly nice home and compared to our market area --- a lot of house for the money.
